Retired membership in the UEA/NEA enables you to follow the progress of your profession by receiving the UEA publications, UEA Action, and other professional communications, as well as entitle you to continuance of UEA and NEA Special Services and other benefits of membership.

There are two types of Retired membership:
- Retired Lifetime - This type provides you with a lifetime of UEA/NEA retired benefits for a one-time payment of $200.
- Retired Annual - This type provides you with yearly UEA/NEA retired benefits that you renew every fall. The yearly retired membership dues are $40.
To join the UEA/NEA as a retired member please print out the membership form [pdf, 36KB], complete it, and return it to us with a check for the total of your membership dues to the address located on the membership form.
