Liability Insurance
As a student member, during your student teaching you will be eligible for NEA's $1,000,000 liability coverage!
Dues Rebate After Graduation
During your first year of teaching and regular NEA membership, you'll be eligible to receive a rebate of $20 for each year you were a student member.
Scholarships
Student members are eligible for NEA's Jack Kinnaman Scholarship, which can be utilized to gain skills in organizing, time management, group management, and publishing.
Workshops
UEA offers workshops, such as Interviewing Skills and PRAXIS Training, to its student members.
All this for only $25.00 per year! AND when you join the UEA as a regular member the first year you teach you are eligible for a 20% reduction in dues for your first year!
